Big Siblings Mentoring is the cornerstone of our organization. These volunteers develop a one-on-one relationship with a child in our program. They attend the Child Enrichment Outings on the second Saturday of each month, and have at least one other contact with the child per month. As a Big Sibling, you are an advocate for the child and attend the child's parent/teacher conferences two times per year. Surrogate Big Siblings As a Surrogate Big Sibling, you are paired with one of our students for the day. Each month, some of our regular Big Siblings are absent from the Child Enrichment Outings on the second Saturday of each month due to family or work commitments. As a Surrogate Big Sibling, you would be paired with a child for the outing. It's a great way to get involved with the kids if you are unable to commit to being a full-time Big Sibling.
